On Going Support Workshops

We offer co-teaching opportunities, embedded instructional coaching, and an innovative PLC program to help teachers.

On-Going Support for Educators and Administrators

Teaching is challenging and learning to teach in new ways takes time and support. We offer co-teaching opportunities, embedded instructional coaching, and an innovative PLC program to help teachers. We also offer short workshops about ADI for administrators so they can also learn about ADI and how it is different from other forms of instruction.

Co-Teaching

As part of our Co-Teaching service, teachers will have an opportunity to:

  • spend an entire day with an ADI-certified teacher;
  • watch an ADI-certified teacher guest teach part of an ADI investigation;
  • teach along side an ADI-certified teacher for part of an ADI investigation; and
  • have an ADI-certified teacher observe them teach part of an ADI Investigation.

Embedded Instructional Coaching

As part of our Embedded Instructional Coaching service, teachers will have an opportunity to:

  • plan an ADI Investigation with an ADI-certified teacher;
  • have an ADI-certified teacher observe them teach;
  • reflect on what went well and not so well during the investigation; and
  • develop a plan for continuous improvement based on feedback.

Professional Learning Community Program

As part of our Professional Learning Community Program, teachers will have an opportunity to:

  • identify personal strengths and weaknesses;
  • plan ADI investigations with other teachers;
  • observe their peers teach and offer them feedback;
  • examine student work and make instructional decisions based on student needs; and
  • learn from their mistakes and develop solutions to problems of practice.

Workshops for Administrators

As part of our Workshops for Administrators, participants will have an opportunity to:

  • learn about ADI and what makes it different from other forms of instruction;
  • see how ADI is aligned with science and ELA standards;
  • identify things to look for in an ADI classroom during classroom observations; and
  • learn about how to best support teachers as they transition to ADI.
